Jet Planeusaf Chrome Award Model1957 This is a desk top award plane given to a jet pilot in 1957. The plane is a beautiful chromed metal model. It is 9 inches long. The wing span approx 10 inches. It has u. S. Air force decals. The plane itself is on a movable pivot, so it can appear to climb or fly ni a horizontal stance. Including the base, it's about 6 incehs high. It's ni good condition. There's a minor amount of corrosion around one of the engines. There's a faint award plaque attached. It gives hte name and year. Hafb 1957. The base has a mite bit of aged patina too. After all, it's over 50 years old! It's reminesent of the chrome car ornaments of the 50's. Only this is real.
